Rossco Designs offers solutions in website design, freelancing and also graphic design. Web design is about much more than creating a design that is appealing and professional. Any successful website needs to be well designed, meticulously coded, intuitive and ease to use for first-time and for repeat visitors.

All my knowledge is applied to every website that I design from the CMS (content management system) back-end to the font-end, using the latest XHTML markup. Utilising the power of CSS (cascading style sheets) for styling allows for fast control over a websites look and layout settings.

Testing to ensure that each page adheres to the latest disability laws set by the W3C is also very important and I guarantee my designs to validate to the standards.

Websites should be compliant to run in today's browsers but also browsers of yesterday. Designers have to work around the problems that arise from the many browsers out there, more so than any other is Internet Explorer. Created and implemented by Microsoft, this browser is usually referred to as a designers nightmare but still holds a huge part of the market as a default browser. So-called IE hacks are applied to all my sites to help with cross-browser compliance issues and maintain the desired look of a design.
